Misguided Aggression - Behind the Scenes of the Kingdom Come video

From the press release: "Our Kingdom Come" comes off Misguided Aggression's debut album "Hatchala", which was recently released by Year of the Sun Records. The album was recorded at Icehouse Studios by producer Thomas Ireland and mixes bone crushing brutality with head-banging grooves to create the soundtrack to a drunken bar brawl between Lamb of God and Meshuggah. Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl - Clip and trailer

It has been awhile since I uttered the words "What the...?" at a clip or trailer before, but this did it. The clip features teen girls competing in a wrist cut rally. Yes, you read that right. It is completely random, bloody, and not for the easily offended. I guess I should not be surprised to learn it is from the director of Tokyo Gore Police.

This looks pretty darn cool. I cannot say I ever thought I would see a martial arts based movie with stars like Kate Bosworth, Geoffrey Rush, and Danny Huston. The real star of the show is Dong-Kun Jang. The trailer is small and I look forward to seeing a higher rez version of it.

I look at this trailer, and it seems familiar, really familiar, but I cannot quite put my finger on it. How about you?

In the vein of When a Stranger Calls and Disturbia, the suspense unfolds in ELSEWHERE, a new teen thriller featuring rising star Anna Kendrick (fresh off a landslide of exposure from Twilight and news of her latest role opposite George Clooney in Jason Reitman’s Up in the Air). This actually looks pretty good. The Kevin Spacey drama features the star as a shrink to the stars who begins having some issues of his own. Below is the official synopsis, trailer, and poster.

This coming fall season will be seeing two movies share the same title. One is the number nine, written out, the other is the numerical 9. They could not be any more different. One stars Daniel Day-Lewis and is a flamboyant musical, the other is an animated tale in a post-apocaluptic world populated with rag dolls and featuring an ensemble voice cast. However, they both look rather entertaining and look forward to both. Oh yeah, don't forget District 9, to cover all our bases.

This looks awesome! This is based on the novel of the same name by Cormac McCarthy and is an apocalyptic tale of survival. The trailer looks bleak and awesome. The cast is first rate and includes Viggo Mortensen, CHarlize Theron, Robert Duvall, Guy Pearce, and Garrett Dillahunt (who seems to be the go to crepy guy).

Before now I had just seen some footage set to "Bad to the Bone" of star Thomas Jane shooting up a joint in what looked like an awesome flick. Now there is a new promo cut set to the same tune as well as a full trailer that will play at Cannes. I am really looking forward to this. It looks violent, exciting, funny, and I just hope it gets a relase that allows me to see it on the big screen.

The story has gotten bigger, the robots have gotten bigger, everything in true Michael Bay fashion has gotten bigger. No one can blow stuff up quite like Bay can. Also, if the action here is any indicater, it looks t be a bit easier to follow than the first one.

I cannot believe how quickly this project got going. Hopefully that will not signify a lack of quality. I like what I see in the trailer, it has a creepy, violent vibe, and follows the hospital theme of the original sequel. It does seem to bring in an element reminiscent of Jason Voorhes mother fixation, this could be good or bad. THe poster has also arrived, complete with a vision of a messed up mask.

The trailer and he poster both stae how controversial the film is, can it really be controversial? I don't know, maybe. It does look to play along the edge of comfort. The film centers on Nancy who goes to visit friends, essentially leaving her husband, to find solace in the arms of another man with whom she has been communicating, bonding over perverse acts. The cast includes Maria Bello, Jason Patric, Rufus Sewell, and Amy Brenneman.

Director Steven Soderbergh is back with a new film. It looks rather interesting. It is set in the days leading up to the 2008 election(not sure what the significance is about that yet). Another in a long line of Iraq War themed films. Will it be another failure? Time will tell. I am not sure any of these films will be truly successful until all our troops are withdrawn. That said, it does not look bad; actually, it look pretty darn good. It is about those brave souls who defuse bombs. Follow them on their missions as they battle insurgents and each other.

A cammed version of the trailer for the Halloween sequel has hit the web, and it looks promising. I liked Rob Zombie's remake and I like the look Zombie brings to his films, here's to hoping this movie stands up. It looks like it is going to go head to head with Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds. Also, this sequel has had one hell pf a quick turnaround from when it was announced.

Lars von Trier has a new film coming out and it looks seriously bizarre. The trailer alone is rather disturbing. Willem Dafoe stars and looks like he gets in a little over his head. I am not terribly familiar with con Trier's work, but I may need to see this one.

Wow. This looks fantastic. Sam Rockwell plays a man working a three year contract on a moon-based mining facility. As his time comes to an end, he health deteriorates and he begins having hallucinations. Seems simple enough, but it looks to be much more than that. It brings to mind films like 2001, Sunshine.

This new one looks to be right in line with those outings and features a great cast that includes Jason Bateman, Mila Kunis, JK Simmons, and Kristen Wiig. It centers on Bateman who runs a factory and finds his life crumbling around him.

From I Love You, Man to this, we are seeing a lot of punctuation in movie titles. Well, maybe not, but it still looks pretty funny. A nerd professes his love for the hottest girl in school during his valedictory speech only to have her show up at his door for a wild night. Hopefully this will be a fun romp. This feature will be the first test of Heroes' Hayden Panettiere's potential star power on the big screen.

This looks very funny, especially the cameo at the end of the trailer. However, as funny as it looks, I cannot help but be reminded of Very Bad Things, a comedy that covered very similar territory years ago. It is the story of a bachelor party that has gone very very wrong.

This looks spectacular. Michael Mann always makes solid movies (Heat, Collateral) and this looks to be no different. It is set in the glory days of bank robbers. Johnny Depp stars as John Dilinger and he faces off with Christian Bale as the FBI agent charged with his capture. This trailer looks gorgeous. I am looking forward to this one.

The young girl, Esther, is different, she is evil. While I like the trailer, I get flashes of The Good Son, Joshua, and The Omen.

Michael Keaton and Kelly MacDonald co-star in this romantic drama about a pair of guarded individuals who find something in another person for what may be the first time in their lives. I think. There is also an es-boyfriend and a possible assassin. It is nice to see Keaton back in a project that would seem to be worthwhile.

I innocently click on the link for this film, I see Bill Pullman and Julia Ormond on the cast list and think it could be interesting. Then, this trailer begins and slaps me across my face. It looks seriously twisted and I cannot wait. David Lynch is executive producer, and I do get the feeling he had his fingers in the pie. The movie is directed by Jennifer Lynch, David's daughter, and is her first feature since Boxing Helena. It is getting a limited release from Magnet on June 26,2009. I hope to see this.

Jim Jarmusch is an interesting director. I have seen a few of his films and they each have something special to offer. Will ths continue the trend? The trailer reminds me of both Ghost Dog and No Country for Old Men. The cast includes some good names, including Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, and Gael Garcia Bernal. The film stars Isaach De Bankole.

I am excited for this movie. Really excited. At the same time I am worried. Really worried. It is Sam Raimi, the genius behind The Evil Dead films. It is also Sam Raimi who made it big with Spider-Man. Unfortunately, he also made Spider-Man 3. Anyway, this trailer looks pretty darn good. Alison Lohman stars as a bank employee who is cursed by an elderly woman, who turns out to be ome sort of demon. Justin Long co-stars. The trailer has that distinctive Raimi-horror look to it. It is nice to see him in the horror world again, too bad it is PG-13 (or so I've heard). I kept waiting for the demon-woman to let out a "I'll swallow your soul!"

This looks like a heartwarming film, not to mention one I foresee gaining a widespread audience. I am not sure what it is that triggers that reaction, but I have it. Michael Caine stars as an agng magician who unwillingly moves into an old folks home. Here, he befriends a young boy played by Bill Milner (Son of Rambow). The two become friends and teach each other things about life. Sure, sounds typical, but check out the trailer. It is utterly charming.
